Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima Roof Rack System on the 2023 Ford Expedition Max. A roof rack system's gonna be comprised of two parts. We're gonna have our 68 inch HD crossbar on top. Now you can get that in a couple different sizes. The size we have today is gonna give us just a little bit of overhang, but if you don't want that much overhang or a little bit more, you can get a different size. more

Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System Replacement Air Jumper Installation- Video
Hello, everybody, Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be working on our 2020 Ford Expedition. We're going to be taking a look at the replacement air jumper line by Demco. This replacement line is going to work well for you, if your motor home has a larger fitting, than your Air Force One fitting on your vehicle. So in our case we do have a quarter inch fitting on our towed vehicle. We have a half-inch fitting for our motor home. more

So I am using our Timberline towers for our roof rack system and I'm using the HD Yakima bars as well. And to be honest, these towers are very easy to install compared to some of the others. It just wraps around your existing raised rails and it makes the installation really easy.So on this Expedition we will have a lot of capacity for passengers on the inside. more

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2018 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2018 Ford Expedition, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles, part number RM-156-25.So, here's what our charge line kit looks like once we have it installed. It's going to take the 12-volt power from our RV and transfer it through this breaker to the positive post on our battery so that we have a constant trickle charge going to our battery, so when we get to our destination, our Expedition won't be dead. Our charge line kit's going to provide 15 amps to avoid over-charging our battery, and it's going to hook directly into our six- or seven-way on the front of our Expedition. That way when we plug up for our lights, our 12-volt power source will be already plugged in. Just keep in mind you do need a 12-volt power source at the back of your motor home in order to give it power. If you don't have 12 volts at the back of your seven-way of the motor home, we do have a charge line kit for the motor home available here at etrailer.com. more

Demco SBS Air Force One Second Vehicle Kit Installation - 2018 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2018 Ford Expedition, we're gonna be taking a look at the Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System, part number SM99209.If you've been flat towing and you have an Air Force One on your motor home and you get a new vehicle or have a second one that you want to tow, our secondary vehicle kit for the Air Force One is gonna prevent you from having to buy the entire kit again. Now the secondary vehicle kit's gonna work just like the original one. We're still gonna hook up to our motor home with an airline and have our breakaway switch in case of an emergency. But we're not gonna have to touch the motor home or install any parts on it.Our kit's gonna come with the operating unit and all the wires, hoses and lines to get it installed on the vehicle. And the way it's gonna operate the brakes on our second vehicle is we're gonna have this actuator clamped onto the brake pedal and it's gonna apply it by pulling the brake pedal forward towards the firewall. Now the nice thing about this is the fact that it is gonna be permanently installed. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2006 Ford Expedition- Video
Today in our 2006 Ford Expedition, we'll be installing the Contra 00:02:35 Prodigy P2 Break Controller, part number 90885 with a direct fit wiring harness or pigtail 00:00:11, part number 3035-P. First we'll go ahead and locate the manufacturer's break controller tow hood. Here, next to the diagnostic link for the vehicle's computer, we'll find the gray, five pin plug which will be the manufacturer's tow port. Next, we'll take the break controller bracket and find a suitable mounting location. Then using the hardware provided with the install kit we'll go ahead and secure the bracket in place. Next, we'll take the wiring harness, plug into the gray connector on one side and route the other up through our break control bracket or pocket. Once we have our harness in position, we can then go ahead and take the wiring harness and plug it into the back of the break controller. Once we have it plugged into the break controller, we can then go ahead and put our break controller into the pocket and lock it down. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2000 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2000 Ford Expedition, we're going to install part number 90195, the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller. We'll be also using an Adapter Cord, part number 3035-P from Tekoncha. We'll start off with that part. We'll look for the port that's underneath the dash. It's right next to the diagnostic port. You'll go ahead and point it out and then go ahead and plug the cable into it. All right. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2004 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2004 Ford Expedition, we'll be installing the universal kit for trailer break controller 7 way RV and 4 way flat with 10 gauge wires. Part number ETBC7. This vehicle already has a 4 way flat installed on the back. We're going to go ahead and do a quick test to make sure everything's working fine here. Now that we've done that, we're going to go ahead and mount our bracket. We'll need to mount the bracket that will hold the 7 and 4 way. Now because this has a factory hitch on it, there's a little tab here that the 4 flat used used to sit up in. we're going to go ahead and drill a couple small holes to attach our bracket that holds the 7 and 4 way to the factory 4 way bracket that's part of the hitch. We'll go ahead and use a paint marker and mark our holes, then we'll drill the holes on the bracket on the hitch, followed by drilling the on the bracket that hold the 7 and 4 way. Once that's done, we'll go ahead and use 2 of the bolts, washers, lock washers and knots that come with the kit to hold it in place. Next we'll go ahead and attach our 7 and 4 way plug to the bracket we just installed. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2005 Ford Expedition- Video
Today this 2005 Ford Expedition were going to install part number TK90160 from Tekonsha. This is a primus brake controller. Were also going to use the adapter cord, part number 3635-P, also from Tekonsha. Well go ahead and start off by working with this part. Well plug into a towing port thats underneath the dash. In this case its behind the data port, alongside the wires that goes to it. more
